Customizable, Clear and Actually Useful.
EmployLaw Group LLP offers a variety of tailored management training models that meet business needs and legal requirements. These trainings include:

Sexual Harassment Prevention for Supervisors and Staff
In California, employers with five or more employees are required to provide harassment prevention training every two years. Supervisors must complete two hours, and staff must complete one hour. The training must cover the prevention of harassment, discrimination, bullying, and retaliation, along with other required topics. We offer several flexible options to meet these legal requirements.

Live Trainings
EmployLaw Group LLP offers live, in-person, engaging training sessions at accessible pricing. We can come to your location or another location you designate. Topics include not only preventing harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and bullying, but also other practical steps your team can take each day to build a positive work environment.

Disciplinary Documentation
This training gives managers implementable tools to distinguish coaching from discipline and shows them how to write clear and consistent documentation using a straightforward process that aligns with company policy and minimizes legal risk. Supervisors learn how to support employment decisions with objective and defensible records, free from emotion or bias.
Wage and Hour Compliance for Frontline Managers
Managers learn how to properly enforce meal and rest breaks, prevent off-the-clock work, and manage timekeeping with confidence. This training covers common wage and hour pitfalls, including rounding practices, reimbursable expenses, remote work risks, travel time, on-call issues, and potential liability under PAGA.
Reasonable Accommodations and the Interactive Process
Supervisors are trained to spot accommodation requests early and navigate conversations about medical limitations with care. The training provides a clear process for documenting the interactive process and understanding essential job functions and undue hardship.
Properly Handling Complaints and Investigations
This training equips managers to handle employee concerns and misconduct reports with care and professionalism. Supervisors learn when to escalate issues, what to avoid saying, and how to protect confidentiality while minimizing the risk of retaliation claims. The training also covers the basics of conducting a workplace investigation.
Managing Leaves of Absence and Return-to-Work
This session helps supervisors recognize legally significant leave requests and respond appropriately. The training covers CFRA, FMLA, PDL, ADA, FEHA, and PSL, and walks through when to involve HR, how to manage intermittent leave, and what to do when employees are ready to return.
